All products in the Eithergreen®line are completely environmentally friendly and formulated with totally biodegradable components. As a result of its action, Eithergreen® produces salts commonly found in the environment such as sulfates or nitrates
All products in the Eithergreen® line are available in water-soluble packaging to minimize environmental impact and take up as little space as possible while facilitating transportation.
The water-soluble sachets are dissolved directly in water, quickly producing the product solution in the correct concentration for proper efficacy.
Eithergreen® is an absolutely innovative and unique line of products that can oxidize malodorous substances such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogenous and sulfur organic derivatives and inhibit the anaerobic bacterial load for the benefit of active biomass, which is instead stimulated in its aerobic degradation activity of organic materials
The selective activity of the Eithergreen® has been confirmed by a study carried out at the Department of Hygiene, LA SAPIENZA University of Rome, which showed the following activity :
- tests on collection strains.: E. coli (bactericidal times of 2′ for a 0.1 % neutral solution), 14 strains of Salmonella Enterica (bactericidal times of 2′ for a 0.02 % neutral solution);
- tests on clinical isolation strains.: E. coli, E. faecalis, E. aerogenes, E. cloacae, C. freundii, K. pneumoniae, Acinobacter Lowffi, Enterobacteriaceae, on which neutral Maxidin® solution showed bactericidal times between 4° and 15′ for a 0.1% concentration.
Eithergreen® products not contain the following substances that are harmful to humans and the environment:
- Components that produce irritating and toxic volatile compounds by inhalation (strong acids and bases, hypochlorite or chlorine such as bleach, formic aldehyde or other aggressive aldehydes such as glutaraldehyde, bromine-nitro amino derivatives)
- enzymes that can generate allergic reactions by skin contact or to the respiratory tract if inhaled.
